Welcome to Savora. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Savora website at www.getsavora.com and all related services. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Savora, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be bound by them.
2. Account Registration
You agree to provide accurate information, maintain the security of your credentials, notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access, and accept responsibility for all activity under your account.
3. Use of the Service
Permitted: You may use Savora to save, organize, generate, import, and share recipes for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Prohibited: You agree not to use the Service for unlawful purposes, scrape or systematically extract data, upload harmful or infringing content, attempt unauthorized access to our systems, use bots or automated tools that disrupt normal operation, reverse engineer the Service, or impersonate any person or entity.
4. User-Generated Content
You retain ownership of all content you create on Savora. By submitting content, you grant Savora a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, display, and process it solely to provide and improve the Service. When importing recipes from third-party sources, you are responsible for ensuring you have the right to save that content. Savora preserves source attribution links to credit original creators. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms without prior notice.
5. AI-Generated Content
AI-generated recipes are provided for informational and creative purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, safety, or suitability of any AI-generated content. You are responsible for verifying that any recipe — including those with ingredient substitutions — is appropriate for your dietary needs, allergies, and health conditions.
6. Subscription Plans and Payments
The Free plan includes up to 25 saved recipes and 10 AI generations per month. Pro is available by subscription at rates displayed on our pricing page. All fees are in US dollars and non-refundable except as required by law. You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time; access continues until the end of your billing period. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable advance notice.
7. Intellectual Property
All Savora content, design, logos, trademarks, and software — excluding your content — are owned by or licensed to Savora and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce or distribute any part of the Service without our prior written consent.
8. Third-Party Services
The Service may link to third-party websites and services. Savora is not responsible for the content or practices of any third-party services. You are responsible for reviewing their terms and privacy policies.
9. Privacy
Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy, incorporated into these Terms by reference.
10. Data Export
Pro subscribers may export their recipe data at any time in JSON format. Your data belongs to you.
11. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.
12. Limitation of Liability
SAVORA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE THREE MONTHS PRECEDING ANY CLAIM.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Savora and its founders from any claims arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
14. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. We will revise the "Last Updated" date and make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
